What is Story Making? Repetition, Repetition, Repetition
  • Active Story Making is a process of Imitation, Innovation and Invention
  • A way of learning and remembering stories.
  • A method in which stories are told with actions & story maps, as an alternative to reading from books
  • A framework to extend children’s language and literacy skills in an age appropriate way
  • A multi-sensory approach which will help you offer an evidenced based intervention to support children eligible for Pupil Premium/EYPP

The 3 morning sessions, will take place on 17th September 2019, 22nd October 2019 & 14th January 2020, Keynsham Community Space.

The cost is £90 per person.

Description

This lively, informative course is led by experienced trainers and Active Story Makers - Lin Oakley and Julie Read on behalf of the B&NES Early Years' Service. It will equip practitioners working with the skills and enthusiasm to lead active story making sessions for children of all ages in early years classrooms and settings (2-5 years).
